About us
UAQA is a project aimed to help every Ukrainian abroad to find important answers to major questions about the war, Ukraine, and its relations with Russia. Why did the war break out? When will it end? Why are Ukrainians and Russians not fraternal peoples? Why must Ukrainian territories not be surrendered to Russia? Ukrainians hear dozens of similar questions from foreigners and often need help with the arguments for their answers. That is why we prepared such arguments and posted all of them on our website.
The project cooperates with the Center for Strategic Communication and Information Security under the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Detector Media online publication. We use only verified information and express it in plain language.
The UAQA project is implemented in the form of an interactive website where you can ask a question and find a clear answer to it.
In the future, it is planned to develop the directions of advisory support and training on conducting discussions on painful topics for Ukrainians abroad.
The project was created by NGO Change Communications, with the support from ISAR Ednannia, within the framework of the Ukraine Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity, which is implemented by ISAR Ednannia in consortium with the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research (UCIPR) and the Center for Democracy and Rule of Law with the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The content of this project does not necessarily reflect the views of ISAR Ednannia, USAID or the U.S. Government.
In accordance with Executive Order, titled “Reevaluating and Realigning United States Foreign Aid,” signed by President Donald Trump on January 20, 2025, funding for the project from ISAR Ednannia has been suspended. Starting from January 25, 2025, the project team continues its work on a volunteer basis, as they believe the UAQA project is critically important for Ukraine.
